Neilp Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 It was exactly how I felt about the origins 350z and 370z. I really love the 2015 370z though and it's the first 370z that I would like to have on my driveway. Quote
370Ad Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 My favorite quote from you tube commentators: 'So basically if Nissan were to put the tires out of a LEAF on the 370Z, then it would become an amazingly fun car.' This is what the stretch tyre gang do right? Knew I was missing a trick 1 Quote
nissanman312 Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) Call me a rubbish driver but I only ever really use 8/10ths on our roads anyway But I get what he's saying especially about the gearbox Edited December 30, 2014 by nissanman312 Quote
GMballistic Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 One mans opinion.... This. Problem is I think with some of these people is that they lose sight of what a decent car is for the money as sometimes they are driving cars that the everyday man just will never be able to afford. I mean he's driven a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and if I had I'm pretty sure I'd think the 350Z was cr*p. 1 Quote
Ekona Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I've driven a 2015 Ferrari California, and I'd rather have a 350Z. Quote

Ekona Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Serious though, the 350 is a much more fun car in every way that counts. 1 Quote
Kev Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) All fair points if the 370z is similar to the 350z. I was shocked when I first drove a Z. Heavy steering compared to a cayman and tbh more of a mini muscle car feel than a coupe IMO. I loved it after a few hours, but I was shocked initially. Not the car I expected. I personally would never choose a Z as a track car, but they're great road cars. Edited December 30, 2014 by Kev Quote
Bodyboarder81 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 The other cars might be better .... But for me the Zeds have so much road presence and soul and they are the working mans sports car .... Everywhere I drive I get complements and looks ..... In a Porsche you get " your posh looks "and ( boxters anyway ) your gay comments !! 1 Quote

Netnomad Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Having driven the GT86 and owned a 911 I can see where he is coming from although the lack of power gets annoying and the build quality is no where near the Zed's. Horses for courses is bang on and I traded in the 911 for the Zed as to me it is a much more fun driving experience...My money my choice! 2 Quote
