bytespc Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Well we've just done our weekly shop at Asda and there's bags of room in the boot, after reading some of the post's on here I thought it was going to be an issue but none of it, yet another reason to always take the Z 3 Quote

Briggsybriggs1 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I hate taking my roadster to them car parks iv got to park in the kids part or out off the way at the back end or I end up with dints in the side. So most times I take my passat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
bytespc Posted June 19, 2014 Author Posted June 19, 2014 Not an issue for me being a disabled Z driver but can understand your concerns 1 Quote

Baidan Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I can imagine the local news paper headline, `370Z Spotted in Asda car park! Presumed stolen’… Waitrose, is far more civilised... 3 Quote

bytespc Posted June 19, 2014 Author Posted June 19, 2014 The sliding is not an issue if you pack correctly and don't do third gear roundabout maneuvers. Quote
smckenna404 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I think the mat in mine is coated with silicon, it's so slippery even to touch. Bit of rubber mat sorted that though! OR you need to buy enough to jam the boot full 2 Quote

Stutopia Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 How does a week's normal shopping (two slabs of lager, 14 pot noodles, a packet of frosties, four bog rolls and a can of Lynx Africa) get upset by sliding around??? 7 Quote

Erm nope I think the cubic capacity of the tank is roughly the same as a Zed cockpit & boot together Quote

docwra Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I dont tend to buy much at a time so the sliding is a big problem, Ive taken to putting stuff in with the spare wheel However we did manage to get tents, airbeds and everything else 3 guys needed for Le Mans into the back last week without too much trouble at all, its deceptive if you pack it right 1 Quote
Kraziekatz1 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I did hear that some supermarkets do a 'delivery' service.....you can order your shopping 'online' and they bring it to your door. Removes the will it/won't it fit in the boot issue Quote

Mudman Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) When I were a lad, in the back of our zed we got 9 suitcases a small particle accelerator, 2 casks of Watneys Red barrel and the band of the Parachute Regiment Tell the kids these days - they won't believe you Edited June 20, 2014 by Mudman 1 Quote
skahigh Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I have real problems getting my shopping (or anything for that matter) in the boot when I need to. I have the dividing boot screen and end up lining the bags up along the bit right behind the seats. Quote
scobie140 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Never take the zed for weekly shop as by the time we get home the bags for life have emptied them selves throughout the boot and totally defeated the effort put into keeping soft stuff away from tins trying to smash my eggs Quote
