TiN TiN Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Been advised that gearbox may be bad as it crunches slightly going into 5th and 6th. Anyone know roughly how much a new gearbox would cost including fitting? Any other things this could be? Quote

Grundy Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Wouldn't worry to much, does it crunch no matter what revs? or just high? If mine is at about 4/5k Revs and I go straight into 6th it crunches, just have to let the revs die down a little 1st. Quote

KyleR Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 You can also double clutch to prevent the crunch or what I do is take it out if gear and let it centre itself between 3rd and 4th then put it in 6th. I find this easier and less chance for screwing up everything trying to double clutch quickly. Quote
