Brayster Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Well I have had the 370z for 2 weeks now and I am getting used to it, thought I'd start a thread as I have a number of plans for it.. I took a flyer and bought it having never driven a 370z or seen this particular car but having coveted one for a while decided to get one. Pictures from the advert And when it arrived on the transporter The first day on the drive At first id planned to change the alloys but I actually have started to like them and the fact they are rare/different. A sunset shot! My first mod - original mats And the second mod is my fave so far....the best £45 ever! And a 2 min job to fit!, And finally mpg on my first long run today was better than anticipated. Ignore the warning light the washer fluid warning is broken. Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Gorgeous, is it actually made from Titanium? 1 Quote

Ha yes sorry titanium coloured 370z .... The mpg was because the roads were icy and I was taking very easy (having already fallen off my bike in the am!) Quote
GIXXERUK Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Are the wheels on because it's an early 370 or are they non gt wheels ? Quote
Brayster Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 It's a base model so non gt they come with fabric seats and with these 18 inch alloys as standard not the 19s alloys... Quote

Cheers for that, I wasn't sure, love the colour, I was originally looking for a titanium but decided it was too close to my old 350 and fancied a change Quote
R35LEE Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I have a set of orange leather GT seats with less than 1000 miles on them with matching door cards if your interested? Quote

sipar69 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Cool. I also have the GTR start button on my Nismo. Nice easy mod! Quote

It is coming from here (picture lifted from inter web) Has anyone solved this? I don't want to spray wd40 or grease it in case it got my clothes ... Furniture polish? Quote
ioneabee Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 a little silicone spray would probably sort that Quote

Deciding on an Ark or invidia or ingen Wheels I was looking at these Or these Or Then see what I think not really sure ... Haha, I tried to keep the stock exhaust, tried & failed Your wheels are different to most of ours already, however genuine TE37's would be stunning Quote
Suits Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Nice. Good to see more 70's cropping up on here. I hung about for a while until I found the GT Le Mans Blue that I wanted and by chance, it found me, on here !! Anyway, yes, exhaust is pony, I'm getting a ARK in the next few days, just trying to shift a cold and get off my arse so I can get it fitted etc... Wheels, yeah, tricky. Having a non GT pack you don't have the Forged RAYS so I can understand the want to switch them, TE37's as Siliva says are always a super safe bet but of late some deep BBS style wheels like the first set have been grabbing me but be aware, don't think strapping those wheels onto your car will get that look, you'll need coiles and some geowork to get that slammed fat look. If that's what you want. It's easy to get carried away looking at other cars with boss wheels and think I can do that, until you strap yours on and think, hmmmm, just looks OEM with mega wheels and feel a bit disheartened. FWIW, I'd maybe stick with the OEM 18's and do it with those, not many over here have them and you could have a great more original looking car with those. Quote
