Mark@Abbey m/s Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 (edited) Exciting things happening at Abbey Motorsport Ltd, we have just signed a deal to bring the excellent Hunter Hawkeye ELITE TD Wheel aligner to Abbey Motorsport, the same equipment Nissan HPC dealers need to use; http://www.hunter.co...elite/index.cfm Edited December 20, 2013 by Mark@Abbey m/s Quote
WhackyWill Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Excellent Mark, thats a nice bit of kit. Quote
Ewen@Clark Motorsport Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 An excellent bit of kit and the back up from Pro-align is superb, good purchase Mark Quote
370Ad Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Just had mine done yesterday! Great bit of kit. What will you be charging for the Z out of interest? I have paid between £54 and £72 for the Z in the past but always worth going to a specialist. Quote
Jp606 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 When are you expecting to have it and what sort of cost? I need to have my alignment done soon. Quote
HaydnH Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I was happy with the alignment I had on your old system. Quote
GMballistic Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Yet another good reason to make the long journey to you guy's next year I think. Quote
wizurd Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Can def recommend them and that's before they got this bit of kit Quote
GT4 Zed Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I prefer old school race method too but this kit is among the best so well done Abbey. Lets know when it's installed and running Mark👠Quote
SamN Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Went to get mine done at the wheel alignment centre in Southampton today but apparently my rear camber and toe bolts are seized time to get some replacements! Quote
GMballistic Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Went to get mine done at the wheel alignment centre in Southampton today but apparently my rear camber and toe bolts are seized time to get some replacements! Did they try putting some heat in to them using a blow torch or similar do you know? Sometimes this can help free them off. Quote
SamN Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 He had some sort of funky heat thing which he said does something magnetic. Not sure exactly what it was! I may try it with a blow torch. He did hard a long breaker bar on it though! Quote

SamN Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Googled it, first thing I clicked looks like the part! www.theinductor.com Quote
GMballistic Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Googled it, first thing I clicked looks like the part! www.theinductor.com Very cool although it does mean that you may now need to buy the new parts. According to there blurb it does free seized nuts/bolts so a blow torch on them may make no difference. New part's shouldn't be too expensive though I'd have thought. Good luck. Quote
SamN Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Is it likely I'll need bushes as well or may I get away with just bolts? Don't like to spend money if it's not necessary obviously, but I will buy what I need. Quote
GMballistic Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 No idea sorry SamN ~ It is likely though if your still running on original bushes as our cars are getting older. Maybe PM Mark from Abbey to see if he can give you some better advice/parts prices. Quote
