what's the difference between these and the one in the video?

I don't think there is any difference.

I have just gone through the thread and according to Marzman who bought one

the display has a slight blue tint to it. everything else is as in the video.

There is a difference - the one in the video is white, and these are green. Secondly the one in the video has a second, smaller numeric readout (in green on the video) - which is not present on this model. Look at the photos of the unit, you can see there is no smaller display above the main one.

This is not to put anyone off buying one - im happy with mine, it's just not the one in the video.

how is it plug and play? what do you plug it into?

It's OBD 11 Interface.

That means nothing to me! Where would I actual plug it into? :surrender:

Hi Randy.

You plug it into the same port under the dash as you would a code reader.

I'm sure somebody on here has a pic of its location, if not I'll try and photograph its location

this evening when home.

How are people hiding the wire? I'd probably just run it up the side of rg door and round the bottom of the window. Would be interested to see it installed.

Buy one Randy and install it, and post your results...

Hi Randy.

Marzman has installed his.

I think he was after "where" to route the cable in a 350Z, rather than a Range Rover
