Flex Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 (edited) Pretty well known. I've got avon z33 on and there a massive improvement over RE50s. But if you want the best then it's Mitchelin Pilot Super Sports for the win. Edited August 16, 2013 by flexib Quote
AliveBoy Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 There's a few cheaper places, try camskill or tyretraders, on tyretraders you can use the code "mxclub" for a discount too. Quote
370Ad Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 (edited) Ekona is going to come on here and get mad......o wait it's not what you think Try Camskill bud, usually the cheapest, it's like the John Lewis of the tyre world! They do price matching too. Edited August 16, 2013 by 350Ad 1 Quote

I find mine a bit floaty at speed sometimes and think it might be pressure related. Quote
Jp606 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Try Pneus Online. My tyres are £50 cheaper than Camskill for two. Quote
LRF4N Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I find different websites are cheaper for different tyres so best to shop around rather than go back to one each time Quote
AliveBoy Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I find different websites are cheaper for different tyres so best to shop around rather than go back to one each time Not sure about tyre sellers, but airlines have their websites set up so that if you get a price for a flight, go away (they presume to check other prices) then come back, their price is obviously the cheapest, so they bump it up. A clear of the cookies can bring the flight price back down again. I wonder if any car parts dealers do this? Quote
Dave-350 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 (edited) ASDA sell car tyres, did you know that? http://www.asdatyres.co.uk/ Edited August 16, 2013 by Dave-350 Quote

AliveBoy Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 ASDA sell car tyres, did you know that? http://www.asdatyres.co.uk/ Found that out the other week, it was only a matter of time though as they are part of Walmart and in the states you can buy tyres, an exhaust, a gun, beer and your shreddies at the same time! docwra Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I've got avon z33 on and there a massive improvement over RE50s. You sure you dont mean RE040s? RE050A are excellent, they are also about 40% more expensive .......... Quote
rtbiscuit Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 If including fitting then event Tyres are cheaper than black circles. But Tyres only then openeo are often beating camskills on price. But a lot can depend on the Tyre you want. I decide on the Tyre then look for the cheapest on the net Quote

HaydnH Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Not yet.... Defo needs spacers. Next on the shopping list. Then lowering, then uprev.... Does it ever end? I'd focus on the performance things first before the Uprev: plenum spacer, air filter, velocity stack and exhaust (all depedning on year on car), otherwise you'll have to remap again afterwards.
