Two buckets - Hot or Cold Water

I was just wondering, when you guys use the 'Two Bucket Method' to clean your car, do you use hot, warm or cold water?

Are there any pros/cons for using one or the other? Does one give a better result or dry better etc?

Just a random thought!

I tend to have it warm. I readon somewhere, years ago about a pro valeting company using warm water to not "shock" the paintwork. Whether its true or not it prefer warm water to freezing cold in my washmit.

There's an argument that hot water shifts dirt better/easier than cold water (hence why washing machines, dishwashers, etc. use hot water), however I only have a cold water tap outside thus my pressure washer stage is all cold water. I do prefer warm water in the buckets though... but that's because it's preferable to sticking my hands in freezing cold water more than anything.
