Arran Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Can't wait for it should be a great opening race! Quote
KC350Z Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 cant wait been watching the practices last night Quote
Ceejay29 Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 I am a huge F1 fan (probably an understatement in my girlfriends eyes) but will give the Moto GP ago this season. The new qualifying format seems pretty similar to that of F1. I have watched a few races in the past, but never followed it fully. Need to try and follow a rider, who is this Cal Crutchlow? Quote
jumping350 Posted April 7, 2013 Author Posted April 7, 2013 hes a British rider been on the up the last coupe of seasons looks like he may well be in the hunt this year but nothing is ever that straight forward in Moto Gp, weve also got Bradley Smith in there but not sure he is quite cut out for the 1st class yet 1 Quote
14N Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 (edited) Go Cal! So good to have the bikes back. Already bought my weekend pass for Silverstone Gonna miss Casey though Edited April 7, 2013 by 14N Quote
Guest Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Can't wait for this to start again, can Carl rattle Pedrosa & co this year. I always think Dobby is a bit of a dark horse, soooo close but not quite there. Quote
Mopedmark Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Can't wait I must say Valentino all the way for me though.I personally not a big fan of Marquez though all his time in the paddock has been gifted more than any before even Vale don't get me wrong he can ride but Dorna is Spanish and they will do anything to get Marquez the title but hey the race tonight should be great viewing Quote
14N Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Aaaaaaaaaaand breathe! Phew, nice one Scott. Fingers crossed for a Brit on the podium in the MotoGP now. Quote
Arran Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Well done cal, shame about dropping a couple places but well placed for first race Quote

Mopedmark Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 It was simple to describe the race Valentinooooooooooo Quote
sidewayz350z Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Good to see Rossi back where he belongs...On a yamaha and on fire Quote
jonst205 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Great race only 'cos of Rossi! Though Lorenzo looks ominously difficult to beat... Quote
Flex Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 So did Rossi give up on trying to work with his team from last year, missing the podium too much?? Quote
Shane Brede Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Watched the race on BBC2 but watch most of them on British euro sport as the commentators are mad as hell Quote
14N Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Watched the race on BBC2 but watch most of them on British euro sport as the commentators are mad as hell I find the commentators on Eurosport far more knowledgeable than BBC. That Aussie Cox says 'nightmare in a bubble cart' and 'shot the fox' EVERY damn race. Still watch it on BBC tho as its live. I'm too impatient to watch it (MotoGP) on sky. Quote
Jetpilot Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Been watching MotoGp ever since my biking days, but apart from the lure of hoping for Cal to be up the sharp end and seeing what Marquez can do in the top flight i personally found this race as dull as any of last years season, perhaps duller as Stoner is gone. One rider having the edge over the rest and the others battling for the other two podium spots. I just read a report on Pistonheads about the opening round, they seemed to glorify it as a good race, all because of Rossi, it was literally no different to last years races! I really hope for some closer battles for first out of the rest of the season Quote
fergie1471 Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Glad rossi is back on a good bike now aswell and will be up there. i can wear my helmet with pride again. ha ha Quote
KC350Z Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013  I just covered my laptop in coffee now Quote
14N Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Record breaking win for Marc and a great ride (again) for Cal. Take note Yamaha. Thoughts guys? Quote
Mopedmark Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Mmmmmmm it seemed more about the tyres than the bloody racing,it was formula1 take 2 a little. It showed that Honda had tested there. Quote
