If I was you having tried everything else I would drill the centre of the stud, start small and increase the drill bit size until it falls off, also only drill deep enough to remove the nut itself!

Not sure how easy it will be to source a new stud might be worth looking into before destroying it completely :thumbs:

 

+1 On the above. But, if you feel the need to ask how to do this then don't attempt it...then again if you knew how to do this you'd have done it by now and wouldn't have posted :blush:

NEVER USE ALUMINIUM NUTS EVER!

 

Ive delt with getting about 6-7 sets off of friends cars who said it would be fine, Steel or titanium only

D1 nuts are horrendous. Every forum has stories of them stripping and needing to be drilled off.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. They MIGHT be ok for a bit, but I wouldn't take the risk personally. You'd have to be the unluckiest person in the world for them all to fail, but the agro might not be worth it.

I've just got a set in red :| they look the dogs bssss which is the annoying thing.
