Flyboy ...can we not stick a cherry on this model 😉 and make the actual mirrors tilt downwards after a double tap on reverse gear so we can watch our precious alloys near kerbs 😎

 

So what I mean is put into reverse as normal and mirrors don't move.

Put it into reverse and out then straight back in and it activates the mirrors so they tilt downwards 🤔

I have tried something like this a few years ago but as the mod works on a timer to run the motors in and out, the up and down never positioned the mirror back where it came from, the timer is just not accurate enough if the motor is not moving from the limit of its movement and back again.

to do it properly you need a motor change which has an encoder so it will return to the same position.

 

BTW are you off the list now MikeyM or are you going to add yourself again?
