I'm currently trying to fit the biggest tent I have into the car. Our small tent is just too tiny for 3 days stay so instead it will have to be the bigger one.

never had it in the 350z before and couldn't get it in at first in its normal form

Last night I took out the vertical tonneau cover and it fits in undone lenghtways with the middle piece under the strut.

There should be a seperate award for who can transport the most impractical camping gear in a zed.

To say I'm looking forward to this meet is an understatment!

I have no idea how i am going to get everything in my zed. :scare: I am used to an astra or a bigger MG ZS saloon which i can get loads in.

i suppose after a bit of  i will get it all in.......time will tell! ha!

Just up the road as I'm from the Nortth West- any one thought about tackling the Hardknott Wrynose Pass in a Z?? :scare:

Only problem is getting the mountain bike in the 'boot'.

That's crazy talk! Although the Zed will eat the pass up for fun, in my previous drives over it's the tourists towing runaway caravans with 1.4 litre petrol Astras that scared me, and I've ridden the Bolivian death road three times!!!

Good luck...

I believe the village is filling up nicely with zeds judging by the feedback from the local hostelries. ( any excuse for a pub crawl. ) If anyone need recommendations let me know. There is still plenty of room for camping. :)

Good that we can help the local economy!

Are you going to arrange some tankers of fuel? We could get some group buy discount

It's ok, there's a Shell down the road at Ulverston!

Yes mate, same venue about noon. And for Matt, there are teeny speed bumps when entering the village hall car park so I will save you a place on the car park at the pub.

Might be worth getting your tyres fitted at Camskill whilst you're there- cheap and just up the coast in NW Cumbria- i believe free fitting if you turn up. PS I don't work there but their R888s are the cheapest i've found.
