Think I'll get one of these when I get round to getting my belts replaced, once up to temp my car rocks/shudders slightly and the idle rpm isnt steady when I'm stationary.

 

Fingers crossed this will help, I was contemplating giving the MAF a clean.

After cleaning the maf do the throttle body reset and the idle relearn. It will idle much better after you do them both.

+1 Get some electrical contact cleaner for the MAF, don't touch the wire sensor in the MAF, or the butterfly valve in the TB as they are both very sensitive.

you can clean the sensor in the MAF with carb cleaner, just a case of spraying it. but don;t touch it.

Have been looking into doing this my self on the link they talk about 6-7-and even ten wire kits as more for auto who sells these kits and does any one kno about extra wires

Awesome find!

 

Plan on making my own but struggling to find anywhere I can get Lime Green 4 gauge cable. Does anyone have any suggestions?

 

I've googled repeatedly under different searches and eBayed but can't find any. I have managed to find some manky green but no lime

glad i found something useful ordered some cabling and some gold plated termnals-so will be doing it as well in next few days
