370 Conv GT newby... 2 questions folks

Recommended Posts

Just got myself a nice MY2010 370Z GT Convertible in Le-Mans blue with 15k on the clock. Lovin the 19" forged alloys and especially lovin the performance, I prefer this to my previous motors... Boxster, Scooby STI etc... better looking, performance and extras. Gettin brake judder though under harsh braking and only 15k on clock, tyres have loads of life, is this typical folks (I believe u can get discs skimmed)? Also, been told by the Derby Nissan dealer that the Le Mans blue is rare so you can't by the paint, they gave me code "RAE" and said get some made up at Halfords.... has anyone else experienced this please? Cheers Mike

Welcome, the code is right for your paint, try googling paints4u, they do a touch up kit.

I had judder issues after getting my wheels powdercoated, breaking around 40-50mph. Tophooker can sort it for you so I'd PM him, but I'd get the garage to pay for it if you've just bought it.

I had brake judder too, caused by poorly made slip spacers (used together with decent ones) which resulted in the discs getting distorted. All resolved very efficiently by Disc Skimmers - see 'Tophooker' under member traders ;)
