mikeyhud Posted September 13, 2012 Share Posted September 13, 2012 Just got myself a nice MY2010 370Z GT Convertible in Le-Mans blue with 15k on the clock. Lovin the 19" forged alloys and especially lovin the performance, I prefer this to my previous motors... Boxster, Scooby STI etc... better looking, performance and extras. Gettin brake judder though under harsh braking and only 15k on clock, tyres have loads of life, is this typical folks (I believe u can get discs skimmed)? Also, been told by the Derby Nissan dealer that the Le Mans blue is rare so you can't by the paint, they gave me code "RAE" and said get some made up at Halfords.... has anyone else experienced this please? I had judder issues after getting my wheels powdercoated, breaking around 40-50mph. Tophooker can sort it for you so I'd PM him, but I'd get the garage to pay for it if you've just bought it. I had brake judder too, caused by poorly made slip spacers (used together with decent ones) which resulted in the discs getting distorted. doctor austin Posted September 20, 2012 Share Posted September 20, 2012 LeMans Blue code is correct and no problem getting the paint. Regarding the discs just measure the run out. I would think better than 100 microns (0.1mm) is very good and 300 microns bad. This way you will know if you have a problem with disc run out. BTW LeMans Blue is the best colour IMHO...
