bobmac Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 I started off just replacing the front discs to match the rears (black diamond drilled fitted by previous owner), and whilst i had the wheels off, sent them away to be repaired (mostly kerb damage) couldn't make up my mind between gold or white, went with white, then decided that the callipers would look so much nicer in red, then decided that they needed to be spaced so on went 20mm front and 25mm rear hubcentrics, then decided that the space between front and rear wheels needed something extra so went with N1 side skirts, rear end looked bare so on went the rear spats, then oh dear the front looked naked so on went the front splitter, stopping now honest, until something bright and shiny catches my eye Quote

bobmac Posted July 29, 2012 Author Posted July 29, 2012 thanks mate only thing im unhappy about is how the alloy wheel cleaner has taken the colour away from the wheel nuts they looked really good when first fitted, might try taking them off and repainting them Quote

Dblock Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Colour the tyre letters in white too. That might set it off? I quite like that though. Quote
rtbiscuit Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 i think white flatters the rays far better than silver does Quote

Ewan27 Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 White alloys are always a bit of a risk, but look amazing against that blue! Good work buddy! Quote
Iwantone Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 I know that this is like using bad language on this Forum, but I'm not always a big fan of "altered" cars. However, this one looks just right and is a BIG improvement - well done for having the vision. Steve Quote
