Sounds unreal with the $3,500 GruppeM Titanium exhaust too! I'm taking it out later because I haven't ran it in 2 weeks but trying to keep the miles off it :surrender:

Had one guy come to buy it but he was huge and couldn't even fit in the bucket seats  I offered to have some seats ordered but think he was too

Think it's priced well as this one is immaculate

I'm not a betting man

Back on topic, lovely car and indeed a future classic, Lee are you not tempted to garage it as an investment?

Yes. Please do this for 6 months and I'll buy it.

 Tarmac is not a betting man is he??

Guys your all right, will be an awesome investment but so would a very early 911 Turbo with low miles ;)

Had the conversation about putting the car into storage with my brothers but we cannot justify it with everything else we have going on! Also advised a few customers of ours about this as an addition to their collections but space is always an issue as is 'I will see what the wife thinks'

An easy way to make some cash if you have the room and facilities to store it properly

*Also I did a video clip of the exhaust and a quick drive out but the Mic on my phone cannot handle the bass and it ends up sounding like a race car and nothing like it sounds in the metal! :surrender:

Just going through a "its summer and Im bored phase"

Im enjoying walks in the park and going out for the day with Lewis though at the moment - went and did one of those funky hand and feet casting things today. I reckon Ill probably be into boys toys again in a few years when he can take part in the fun too :) Though I was eyeing up a Khan pimped Bentley GTC for the summer in baby blue :)

That CSL is most certainly a car that should be in a collection. Give it 10 years and that willbe fetching 3 times its current price imho. Priced to sell I think too.

I think 10 years and nealy £50-60k maybe. Reason being that a fair few were turned into track machines and even more smashed on the roads :headhurt:

Saying that Ferrari F355's and early 911's and 911 Turbos are going to make good money in the not too distant future. However the cost of running and maintaining the likes of a 355 with belt service costs etc will prove costly but BMW parts are reasonably cheap (by comparison) ;)

Even cheaper if you just stick it in a box and leave it a few years - and a hell of a lot less risky than investment markets at the moment. The right 355 will start making money now, if it hasnt been doing so for the last couple of years already.

Sierra RS500's are another one thats been climbing from their lows a couple or so years ago too. There are certainly a few cars out there at the moment that could provide for free motoring and even profit over the next decade, Id class the M3 CSL as one.

RS500's are massive money now :surrender: Great car

We have a Turbo Technics Ford XR3I Turbo with 11,000 miles on the clocks in for some engine work at the moment and it's immaculate and worth decent money as it looks like the day it rolled out of the factory. I wonder if there are any low mileage Escort RS Cosworth (Big Turbos) around because they are another car to watch

No car should ever be stuck in a collection and never driven, unless it's simply pretty but an utter dog to drive.

The CSL should be out every weekend having the tits revved off it, no point leaving a car that good to gather dust in a garage :cloud9:
