DaJimstar Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Got my 07 coupe 313, today 43k on the clock.. It passed its inspection at Abbey Its now with them for a week whilst it gets the work required to it and upgrades.. Suggestions? I want upgraded brakes, it needs new discs and brakes all round. So I want to upgrade from stock.. So what brake upgrades are good above stock? I want the best being honest what tyre upgrades are good above stock? I want the best to be honest As its an 07 it also requires plugs and a p3 so abbey will be doing thier magic there.. Come on those more knowledgeable than I, what do u reckon? DoogyRev Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 But now I am saying hello as an owner and need advice If you can't be bothered to read the "tyres" and "brakes" threads... then 1. PM Ekona and just say "what are the best tyres for the Zed" 2. PM CS or Zmanalex and say "I need new Disc's and Pads what are the best" I have no doubt you will have your answers forthwith Quote
introspect Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Congratulations on the purchase Best brake upgrade would be a two piece rotor from either DBA or Performance Friction, braided lines, Motul RBF600 fluid and either Ferodo DS2500 pads for road use or the Performance Friction Pads if you're doing a few track days. Speak to ZMANALEX for these parts at a good price Best tyres have to be Michelin Pilot Super Sports Quote

HEADPHONES Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Your long hard search has reaped it's rewards. Welcome to the club....AS AN OWNER! I will leave advice on upgrades to my more learned brethren of which there are many and hope to see you around Manchester's highways and byways Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Michelin Pilot Super Sports and Performance Friction Discs with dunno which pads. Otherwise my setup is pretty damn good (well apart from it's half done. Will get MPSS on the fronts when they need replacing and new discs + pads on the rears when they need to be done.) Quote
SteveRS Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Congratulations mate, glad you finally found the right one Quote

Dblock Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 1. MSS, r888 or f1a2's 2. Performance friction discs with PF-01 pads. Quote
Stew Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Whatever you decide on get braided lines and upgraded fluid. This is probably one of my favourite mods and it's not expensive. You can't beat the improved pedal feel! Quote
