Looking for Shell V-Power Petrol in S London area

As title says, I'm finding it difficult to find V Power fuel anywhere near me. On Monday, I went to one in Croydon (beddington), then onto Purley, then to Godstone and then finally to Old Coulsdon. Nowt anywhere. Really need to fill up. Any help would be appreciated! Thanx!

Got the numbers for about 15 stations that I could reach and gonna give them a call this morning as I'm finally off work to be able to try to sort it out.

What he's trying to say is it's all sold out around here. Does anyone local know if any high octane petrols are coming out of any pumps?

Bizarre, nothing sold out in SW London, I topped up in Tesco New Malden on the A3 on Monday? Pretty much all the petrol stations around Richmond are selling high octane as well?

Ok maybe I am being a V Power snob. Think I'll have to result in going for Tesco high octane. Got no choice.

Tried several locally with no luck. I ended up getting Murco Super Unleaded from the Chipstead Valley Road.

At the height of the fuel panic I found the Heston services on the M4 full to the brim with high octane, have you tried hitting the nearest motorway?

if you stop being a V Power snob there are a few options... i filled up the bike with Esso Supreme with no probs and no sign of a shortage at the Hayling Down service station just outside Purley on the A235 by Capella Court (funny building in the middle of the road) yesterday.. big plus is that they are generally one of the cheapest around too

You are right - it does seem V-power supply in our part of the world has dried up - was out yesterday and checked at the 3 Shell stations I saw - all had the yellow "out of use" labels on the V-power pumps. So Tesco got my business with plentiful supplies of Momentum

 

God, that means I'm supporting Jason Plato in the BTCC

It's just stupid. Every other petrol company are pumping out all their different lines, yet Shell who advertise so much about their superior Ferrari supported and enhanced V-Power, is being held back! Losing custom guys! Get that V-Power out to the garages now!!!

My bro suggested another reason why there may be a shortage of V-Power.

Remember back when Morrisons had an issue with their fuel and it caused some damage to customers cars?

Perhaps Shell have made a faulty batch of V-Power and thus are currently making more to replace the stock that would have been delivered to the petrol stations....

A gamble that has led many £'s going Tescos way....oh well Shell, maybe next time

Oh and I might add that at my local Tesco, Momentum was priced at 1.43, thought I was misreading, but it was true....

I'm sure most folks on here know it already but if you're getting supermarket stuff go with the Tesco as it's 99 whereas the Sainsburys stuff is only 97 ron.
