john smith Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 when i bought the z i knew it neede a front re spray as there were a lot of motorway stone chips. once we got it into the spray booth it showed up some poor paint on almost every area. also having lowered it 30mm and fitted the 19 inch volks i wanted the rear arches rolled too. hence full re spray once back together, i then canuba waxed the whole car and , bobs yer uncle. i have also put a new leather gaitor on the gear on handbrake, ive now fitted a momo knob , but havent got a picture yet Quote
SteveRS Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 That interior looks awesome Great job with the respray. I had mine done last july, initially i thought the front end and a few other bits would sort it, but by the time all that was done I though i might as well get the whole thing re sprayed to make it all look brand new. tony420z Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Very nice it looks like the paint came out good top job Quote
Wasso Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Great looking stance, and the kits and rims suit nice How much did you pay for a full respray? Quote

jumping350 Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Looks awesome makes me wanna get mine done..i might be going mad but whats that other rear bumper??is that for a 350?? Quote
benzed350 Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Looks lovely. How are you finding it lowered with that front end. Really want to lower mine but I'm far to worried about tearing my front of on bumps. Quote
rothers2901 Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Looks absolutly great was toying with the idea of a second Z and this would be the one. Quote
john smith Posted April 1, 2012 Author Posted April 1, 2012 cheers guys the re spray was £900 cash, i know the sprayer so it was a mates rate. its immaculate, i have studied every millimetre . the ride is firm with the 30 mm drop and i do have to watch it over speed bumps etc, but its worth it. i have a white and black momo steering wheel, but i have had to bore the boss out hence why its not fitted yet. more pics when it is. Wasso Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 I need to get my paint fiasco fixed, as there's a massive amount of errors from RT, and need to get the job done properly. Where are you based and would he do a mates forum rate Cheers Quote
Hayd350 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Ahhh there it is, i'd recognise that rear end anywhere, saw your motor in ilkley last saturday, very nice example and very fat, i'd love to know your wheel offset as well. I was in an E Class cab that day other wise i'd have potentially chased after and harassed you. Quote
john smith Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 sadly i have no idea whatsoever of the offsett, i will try find out. the garage who did the re spray are in Keighley Yorkshire, and i would guess he would do you a deal if you wanted. http://www.autocraftbodyrepairs.co.uk/contact.html give them a bell, ask for shaun, tell him riddy recomended you.
