Intresting! ive got a daily car, as my son has past his driving test he is using it more than me. i'm now using the zed as my daily car

As I now do more miles than I was expecting, I was thinking of selling my Zed and buying something more economical ;)

I can't say I agree. I'm convinced my shed runs on fresh air after the first 5 miles of a trip.

...and the zed, you turn the key and it gulps 2 thirds of a tank for the pleasure

Local place by me was £1.47 when I passed this morning. :scare:

Oh the joys of being rural.

Same here Chris, in fact it might be £1.48/9

Definitely cheaper to run a shed rather than a zed - although it may depend upon the miles you do.

Ive been fortunate to be able to run a shed this last 2 weeks instead of my 350z.

350z cost me £115 per week on fuel to get to work and back. (25mpg)

Peugeot 307 HDI Diesel costs me around about £50 per week for the same miles. (50mpg)

So whilst super unleaded is roughly the same price as diesel im getting twice the fuel economy. If I used the shed for 12 months work commuting, i would save around £3250 on fuel alone.

When you factor in the other costs involved, my zed is costing me around £900 a month in total with fuel, insurance, tax, mot, depreciation etc.. Whereas the shed works out at only £420 per month.

Hmmm

Filled up today with diesel the Isuzu 4x4 at the cheapest in East Sussex - £1.40.9 litre

Filled up today the Z at Tesco (Momentum) in East Sussex - £1.42 litre

Nearly getting to the point where I can defend the keeping of the Z on fuel cost saving! :D:D:D
