To be fair, judging by his rear tyre, there is a large degree of blame in getting completely the wrong tyre size on those rims too.

Hardly keeping to the manufacturers intended use is he?

considering the rear wheels im def not ruling out stretch at all BUUUUT, now im writing this because of having many a tyre pop off a rim front and back at various speeds due to stretch BUUUUUUT if it was stretch why is the tyre not still on the rim ? Every one i have had pop off just comes off the beed and sits in the center of the rim or on one of the beeds. Recon it was either a delamination or blow out due to the damage and imoh the road markings dont go back very far/ far enough to show that sort of speed unless he has some serious brakes and/or the tyre wasnt off the rim for long and came off when he hit the kerb at a much much slower speed

Rim damage makes you wonder if he hit a kerb that caused the tyre to partly come off a flay around until it departed company altogether.

He was very lucky not to have ended up totalling the car altogether, whatever the speed

Amazing how stuff spreads around the net, was just on facebook and saw someone had posted this pic.

Apparently there is a video kicking around but apparently he was doing 160mph on another stretch of road, then on this road was only going 30mph hit the curb but didnt think to check the tire and a little way down the road this is what happened.

So in short he was only doing 30mph when this happened not 160...

He hit a kerb doing 'normalish' speeds nothing to do with speeding. The tyre had burst and the rim bent but he was driving on a flat to get to the garage. Then it caused came off the rim and caused the damage
