Southernspeed Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Welcome! Mine runs noticeably smoother in V power compared to regular. I'll let someone else answer as to whether a reset would be beneficial. Quote
Chris`I Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Reset wont hurt, it will force the fuel trims to readjust quicker and might sort the timing advance a bit quicker too. If you dont it will just take a little longer to adjust. So up to you really - personally I would as its dead easy Quote
R35LEE Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 You will find your 350z uses a lot less oil than your RX8 Quote
Sam Mcgoo Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Welcome to the club. As said above you don't have to but I would for the time it takes. You can even just disconnect the battery for a few minutes, or if you don't want to loose your radio pre-sets you can disconnect the ECU which can be found just behind the panel above the passenger foot well, to the left of the cigarette lighter. If you don't want to do either of them you can do the pedal dance. (see guides for ecu reset for the pedal method) Quote
