Dom187 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 *breathe in Does anyone else here have 'friends' that slam the door on their Zed? I have a 'friend' that always slams my doors, even when I tell him not to. Sometime its so hard I think the cars gonna roll over. Really gets my goat, its not like I slam the door on the way into his house... maybe I should start to.... or just tell him to get the sodding bus... Quote
UNABASHED Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 my gf used to do it all the time, thought the window would break sometimes. I politely told her if she does it again she will make me have to choose between her and the car and that she probably would not like my decision! Quote

JetSet Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 No, but my mum had the most annoying habit of throwing the passenger door open with complete disregard to what was parked next to us . Another thing I remember is playing golf with a mate of mine many years ago. When we got back to the car he threw his clubs into the boot of his Fiesta and slammed it shut with such force that the back window fell out and smashed Pete Quote
rtbiscuit Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 my popular line for door slammers "do you want to leave it on the hinges" normally said in a sarcastic but cross voice Quote
mc Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 it depends what car you're used to I guess..., but I'd rather have to shut the door twice than rattle the driver's fillings! Quote
bronzee Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I good one for passengers that slam the door, is remind them how expensive the window motors are, and would they like to hand over their wallet to pay for said window motor. Quote
BulletMagnet Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 In addition to the door slamming is when they pull the interior door handle to open and then let it flick back from maximum extention.... Quote
