Looks fantastic. Not many yellow Z's around (I've only ever seen one and that was at Japfest) so it's great to see one saved from the breakers.

 

Yeh, I noticed there are not much yellow ones! But this one is the GT4 model! :teeth:

Contratulations on your restoration it looks B) , I am also doing the same restoration on a chili red 350 with with a Nismo V2 kit and Im about 3 weeks away from paint.

Great to see another Z saved, rather than parted. :thumbs::D Watched another thread like this over on the my350 a year or so ago, from a mess to a lovely Redline when finished. :thumbs:

Impressed especially given the garage space :)

 

How many hours did you put in to that? Well done :thumbs:

 

 

The overall project took about 3 months, however most of the time was spent on sourcing parts, plus we had to wait for the correct weather to paint!

Also what is you guys insurance like, Im getting around the £470 mark zone with 15+ no claims, children and married! 35 years of age!

12 years driving, 9 years or more NCB ( 1 accident no fault as driver went into back of me), no points on license amd 30 years of age.

 

The company im currently with came up with a quote of £1480... Somehow I dont think so. Phoned some other firms/specialists that were recommend and got quotes from around £800 upto £1000.

 

Tried Gocompare and managed to get my insurance through Privalege for a total of £680.
