Ekona Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 ...and therefore demand sympathies from you lot! It started as a cold and is now proper flu, complete with hallucinations of me being in the army and fighting Nazis with the help of my two cats Don't feel like eating so comfort food is out, and I can't walk straight so driving is a bit of ano-no really. Getting sloshed is still an option though I guess... /emo Quote

Ekona Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 Hot chocolate with baileys in.... I made a catastrophic error with Baileys last night in my hallucinatory stage: My throat was really dry so to soothe it I drank a huge glass of lemonade followed straight away by a huge glass of Baileys... Yes, it all curdled in the back of my throat and down to my stomach! Quote
martinmac Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Half baileys half Whisky, its called a Turbo, job done. Quote
James B Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Hot toddy as suggested. 1 Drink with ALOT of booze then sleep. Don't stay up drinking or you'll feel like shite (more so). Quote
Will370z Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 A mug of hot water with loads of manuca (excuse spellig but it's something like that) honey with a little lemon juice will sort you out. Otherwise either vodka or whiskey is a good healthy alternative that usually does the trick Quote
Ekona Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 So one way or another, I need to consume copious amounts of alcohol until my liver screams for mercy? Sold! Quote
