If the area is decent then you may not need a garage if there is a driveway. Swings and roundabouts I guess - its the complete overall package you're after with small compromises between. You don't want to move closer to work because we're probably all moving site next year plus nearer to work means moving into Coventry If you end up somewhere with only one off-road parking space then I'm pretty sure you wouldn't mind leaving the pug in the road.
