Stabalisers (one each side btw, so not a MASSIVE system) are only good to a certain point. And have been proven to actually worsen a roll when waves strike at a certain frequency.

And since that vid looks parametric rolling, stabalisers wouldn't help.

I work on things that large. Not all storms can be avoided.

And google parametric rolling......the larger (beamier) a vessel, the worse it is. It can occur any time the wave frequency is just right.

I've experienced it on a 70,000 ton container ship up near Flemish Cap. We did nearly $1million damage to the ship in 5 minutes.
