mrCD Posted August 27, 2010 Author Posted August 27, 2010 Thanks guys. My story with photography started with my previous car... Just thumbnails, click if you want to enlarge. Best colour too P.S Youre steering wheel is on the wrong side Hehehe Details of camera/lenses/post-processing please. Nikon D80, Tamron 28-75, 1:2.8 (actually the AF is broken so I have to do every shot with MF ), and of course some PS . One picture was taken with a borrowed Nikon S700 but it was just to try out a new thing. Hope to be able to do the same shot with my camera. You might like these from last year: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=28876 Nice job. What lens did you use here? Quote
bodyboarder Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Really nice mate , looks spot on. Lowering and spacers Quote
mrCD Posted August 28, 2010 Author Posted August 28, 2010 Details of camera/lenses/post-processing please. Forgot about Cokin half-grey filter in some shots. Lowering and spacers Yes, I know, but it's not an option to drop it... I scratch even now over some bumps. As for spacers, was very, very close to buying some, but after reading this topic I started to hesitate... Quote
bronzee Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Love the photos, really quite unusual. The subject matter is very easy on the eye too. Quote
captain Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 What lens did you use here here? Sigma 10- 20 mm. Lots of fun. Quote
mrCD Posted August 30, 2010 Author Posted August 30, 2010 I'm thinking of buying a wide angle then. BTW, one more shot. Click to enlarge. I know it's dirty, but please ignore that - my new thing, the background blur is no PS. Cheers Quote
captain Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 - my new thing, the background blur is no PS. Cheers Reveal all please! Quote
Tay Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 very cool pictures. what's the shark fin on the roof used for? Quote
Ebized Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Well that is more than enough for next year's calendar Seriously good pics there Quote
mrCD Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 - my new thing, the background blur is no PS. Reveal all please! The whole idea is to attach the camera to the car. I've used some suction cups a pole and attached to it a small tripod. Total cost ~25 quid. I'll show photos of the set-up, on the car, after a new photo shoot. what's the shark fin on the roof used for? It's satellite radio antenna. I don't use it tho... Seriously good pics there Thanks.
