Dene8 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I've been umming and arring for some time now as to whether or not I should fit my Nismo graphics........ Personally I really like them, but at the same time I don't want to look like a giant douche..... Opinions s'il vous plait........ or Quote
Digsy Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Don't do it. The only time I think it looks OK is on a very heavily modded show car - something like Zedrush's old Veilside Zed. Quote
3FIDDYZ Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 On a nismo car I think they suit it. Just the sides, not the bonnet IMO On a bogo they dont! Quote

I have N2 front bumper, N1 skirts and N1 Spats and anthracite LMGT's so it nigh on identical to the above pic........ Could see it looking pretty ghey on a standard-ish car.... Quote
scottsoulby Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 i say go for it, there not perminent so you could take them off if you dislike Quote
Chris`I Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 i say go for it, there not perminent so you could take them off if you dislike +1 - give it a go, if you dont like them take them off. Do the sides first then decide on if you want the bonnet too Quote
srobrien Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Try it, they are just stickers after all. R Quote
rtbiscuit Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 try it, personally as decals go , they aren't my favourites Quote
Jay Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I agree that you have to have a modded car to pull it off but the bonnet graphics are awful. But defo give it a go mate Quote
Cragus Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I think they would look ok on your car from the sounds of what you have had done! Personally I love these graphics... Quote
jacr87 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I would give it a go. Just depends if what you have done mod wise can pull it off. Quote
Lexx Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Get them on, if you dont like them, then get em off. You coming to the mini meet on Monday night? Quote

sketch Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 just a warning if your not 100% sure on your cars history ect, if you put stickers on pannels that have been repainted or in some cases the original paint, the stickers pull the laqure off when removed, i found this out on my 99' S14a, thought i liked the idea od the nismo stripe, put it on them decided i didnt, i heated it up and removed it slowly and it kept jumping and pulled the laqure off in 3 places, then you have to have your pannel repainted and on a silver'ish car its hard to match the colour, personally i would never put a massive sticker on my car again Quote

Also think that the nismo bit may be too close to the body work to cut to get a good line... Been through the experience and its not easy to get right... Having had a quick search I cant belive that noone produces an exact precut one... Perhaps RGVA or Racoon could think about it! Quote
rtbiscuit Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 the nismo decal comes separate to add on after you have finished. as for fitting, i've done a couple before and they are a fiddle, but applying them wet, helps as does a good sharp knife. will have to see how it goes. Quote
UNABASHED Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I quite like the Nismo graphics, only on the side though and not thwe bonnet section. I spent a while trying to find a picture of a nismo'd Azure with the graphics with no joy so not sure if I'll go down that route when I get mine kitted Quote
