Hey,

If you could have a shopping spree at z-store what spec would you have your Z, list mods etc mine would be the following:

A Red Nissan 350z face-lift GT spec with the following

* Full ings+1 N-Spec body kit including the carbon trimmings

* Seibon OEM carbon bonnet

* Top secret GT carbon rear wing

* Top secret carbon under-diffuser

* Carbon pillar garnish

* Bonnet lifters

* White 5 spoke deep dish rays 18 x 8's

* Tinted rear windows

Interior

* Red bride bucket seats

* Harnesses (debatable)

* Either colour coded interior surrounds or carbon

* A 4" LCD dvd/cd player

* Some HKS, Greddy gismo's

Engine

* Buddy club exhaust system

* 4-2-1 Manifold

* Cossie intake

* HKS mushroom induction kit

* Some chrome and colour coded dress up parts

* A re-map to finish it off

Handling

* A nice 4 pot brake kit

* Cusco anti roll bars

* Lowered 30mm on coilovers

* Front strut brace

Would be happy with that as a naturally aspirated engine :drive1

My mid changes on a daily basis :lol:

But my car is slowly getting to where I want it to be. Engine would definatley be an RB26 though :ninja:

i'm not far off where i want to be, but saying that there are always a few extras

have to be a super charger kit,

DC manifolds

ings low rise rear wing

pioneer 4100DVD unit

husky red dial set

berk hi flow cats

i'll add more as i think, but playing MW2 lol

some good add's etc here :p fluffy dice how can i forget about that haha personally i'd go for a smelly tree :lol:

Who here would rather a supercharged Z or twin turbo?

also has anyone seen this vid :drive1

APS twin turbo kit FTW

super charged as the delivery is linear, and is keeping with the car's natural state. i.e muscle.

i don't like turbos when they spool up when you don't want them etc.

turbos are good and get more power, but super charger is all the way through the rev range.

Ahh true personally i prefer the sound of a turbo. With installing a supercharger is there much hassle with worrying about engine internals or is it straight bolt on?

Posted

super charger is cheaper to do on the zed than the turbo. and probably easier.

super chager i think is roughly about £7000 to do,

you can nearly double that to turbo it if you do it properly

Zed internals are good for 400BHP on the 276 and 296 engines, I heard that the 313s have a much stronger bottom end and can take more, but you should get this comfirmed elsewhere.

Above 400, start thinking about forged pistons, rods and crankshaft - hence the high cost of most TT builds

I like your initial list but i'd have it in candy blue with the wheels in that dark gold colour. the carbon sets off blue so well.

I'd have some serious forced induction going on too. I might go with the supercharger as turbos are the norm.
