smuudge Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Hi all, just dropped by, in the process of looking for a 06/07 UK 'Z'. Any tips on what to look for would be appreciated. Looking forward to contributing here. Cheers! Quote
3FIDDYZ Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Hi Smuudge, Few about on here and the other site, including a few FI and N/A race built models as well as a couple of showcars. Have a search around too as there is lots of info on what to look out for. One think on the 06/07 is toll look out for oil usage, they do drink it. Hope you get a good one and see you about. Quote
stanski Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 - I got an '07 roadster - had it about 3months now - no issues other than a few dealer niggles but all sorted now - prices should be ok now for UK cars - remember the £400+ roadtax you will end up paying - but stuff it - the grin a Zed puts on your chops its worth it - enjoy the forum Quote
Cool Hand Luke Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Hello & Welcome 06? 07? Older 296bhp engine? Brand new 313bhp engine? Decisions Decisions Quote
smuudge Posted June 10, 2008 Author Posted June 10, 2008 Sadly i cant push to the 07 model but i am looking at 06/06 UK GT which i believe will be the facelift model. Will report back tomorrow! Quote
smuudge Posted July 5, 2008 Author Posted July 5, 2008 Took the plunge and took delivery of a 3500ml 56 plate UK GT (gunmetal w/black leather) on Wednesday. I have to say this is the first car I have ever purchased without even sitting in, totally on gut feeling and reviews. I am not dissapointed! What a fantastic car, apart from the fact the car is like new (with such low miles) the build quality, engine note and the drive itself are also top notch. Showed friends and family and they all think its gorgeous. Good choice all in all. See you all around fellow 'Z's! Quote
martinmac Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Nice one bud, the smile will be with you for a long time. Quote
