Now I can't seem to get more than 16mpg tops whereas 24 was more the average. Do I need to do the pedal dance? Will that help to reset the ECU? NO other alterations to the car in this time, just cosmetic...! Quote
Ekona Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 How are you measuring the mpg? Actual maths following a fill up, or from the OBC? No harm in disconnecting the battery for an hour to reset everything, then seeing what happens. Quote

Ekona Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 No way to mess anything up doing the pedal dances, I think Davey was referring to the cleaning of the intake system. That's not something I'd be attempting before a Euro trip, rather I'd be putting up with high fuel usage and sorting when I got back. Worst case it's running rich, but unlikely to be to the point of bore wash. Quote
