I ran them on the MR2, I run them on the BMW, I've tried them on Zeds. They're quality units for the money, with a good damping range and you can spec your own spring rates.

I'd buy them again.

Cheers lads, that's recommendation enough, plus Jez rates them at Hdev. I'm only really interested in a road set up but at least I have the option to tweak for the track if need be.

My suspension guy races S2000s and drifts a Z, he said he could get me BCs, but he thinks HSD Monopros are better. I trust him, every time I'm there he has several race spec S2000s in the workshop so I went with his opinion. I put them on my Z and I'm very happy with the ride comfort as well as improvement in response. Just another option.

I don't think there's much in it with any of the options available around that price point: It wouldn't surprise me at all if they were all made in the same factory.

But yes, I agree that the HSDs shouldn't be written off either. :)

Ran a set of my Evo 8 sprint car. The ER series with external reservoirs..they were decent for mid budget. Also had a set on my Evo X. For value for money you cant go far wrong. Heard good things about HSD aswell but never had a set.
