TT350 Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Some people view getting behind the wheel of their car as the equivalent of strapping on a suit of armour and welding a sword. Quote

rabbitstew Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 I would like to see somewhere in the UK how you can average over 100mph for 2 hours without being sat on a dyno. M5. Quote
coldel Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Was on the M5 last weekend before the Renault kaput, outside lane certainly wasn't clear for 2 hours to be chucking along at 100mph minimum! Quote

Must just be the time of day, I know when we normally come back from Cornwell, you get on the M5 at the start and the sat nav says something like "in 170 miles time turn left" and your on it for what seems forever. When ive been on it, its been so quiet ive really had to use restraint with regards to what speed im doing, I dont think ive ever seen a police car on there either. I set the cruise at a "reasonable" speed and do the whole stretch without touching any pedals at all. Feels most strange after a couple of hours suddenly then having to start using the pedals again.
