nissanman312 Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 OK so after losing the stealth bomber a few weeks ago I have been a bit down hearted on the whole car thing and haven't really being getting out in my new one much So as it stands I have a stock 370z 2010 gt Buuuuut I couldn't leave it that way so I've bought a few bits that I felt made the biggest difference in the drive of my last one obviously apart from the supercharger so on the way is Ebaich front and rear roll bars Kw v3 coilovers they arrived the other day Kinetix camber kit f/r arms and traction arms Also going on is another invidia Gemini The car is going into rsv soon for some cosmetic surgery I need to personalise it to get my mojo back for the car Hoping to get this lot done before my trip to Europe in a few weeks Also on my mods list is some mpss it has practicality new potenzas on it 7mm all round seems a shame to swap them out but we'll see So here it is take 2 build thred Operation z mojo 9 Quote
davedutch Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Nick, You just know it has to be done! Good luck with the mods, at least you can learn from previous. I'm certain you will fall back in love once it becomes truely yours, and particularly after finding the limits again on your Europe drive. Quote

James Junior Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Are the KW coilovers any good? Looking into getting some but what are your thoughts if you've had them before? I also have KW V3s on my Z. They are the single best modification I have ever made to any of the cars I have owned to date. Significantly improved handling - the car feels much more tied down when cornering and gives you loads of confidence to really ean on the tyres in the corners. Yet the ride quality is like stock but with better damping. They are absolutely sublime. So much so that I have just ordered another set for my MR2 Turbo, They may not be as cheap as some coilover kits, but they are worth every penny. Quote
nissanman312 Posted June 14, 2016 Author Posted June 14, 2016 Little report back on the suspension set up Spec. Kwv3 coilovers Ebaich anti roll bars Kinetix front rear camber arms and rear traction arms The car handles on rails now ride better than stock imo I am also running different camber etc than stock so that helps Next possibly a bbk And possibly fit the quaife diff All set up ready for boost If that's the route I go down although still enjoying standard power for now And quite fancy a track toy so may leave the engine alone a get something to play with At the track Nothing to expensive of course European trip kicks of Sunday comming There is 2 supercharged zeds on the trip so I'll probably be having boost envy all week 1 Quote

nissanman312 Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 So not much has happened mods wise lately I'm going to install the diff as I found the car very frustrating in Europe out of tight hairpins etc The tc would either completely cut the power Or if turned of one wheel would spin like hell I just couldn't get out of the corners leaving a golf gti crawling all over the z I know this is a once a year problem as I don't drive those sort of roads all to often but man it's frustrating Also realy missed the supercharger out there felt so down on power Not such an issue here with our backed up roads but I think ill notice it on track Quietly contemplating a change again This missus loves the z and wants me to supercharge it again but I just feel for the price of mine plus a charger I could have something more capable 1 Quote
Bodyboarder81 Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 ...... But what's more capable than a sorted zed ? Without spending big £££ ......you're spending too much time chasing rik's beast !! Quote
