Disaster averted

Small disaster averted yesterday when digging out for a pond.

 

Managed to cut through the 32mm water pipe and narrowly missed the armoured cable to the pumphouse.

 

Luckily, I had a spare length of pipe and two connectors!!!

Dont know about being lucky, but it could have been a lot worse!!

Thing is, I originally laid it about 10yrs ago, just forgot.....what an idiot!

Hang on...my mrs wanted it there...maybe I should blame her!

Iv just had an accident just this moment. Lovely weather so I buy a hose and pressure washer, connectors weren't very good, come back inside after pressure washing my car to find iv sprayed gallons of water all over the kitchen!! Rrrr
