matt89 Posted February 17, 2016 Share Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) Just caught the bottom edge of my steering wheel with a sharp key on my keyring (offending key is no longer privileged to be on car key bunch!). Each line is maybe 0.5mm raised so you can feel it and its exceptionally disheartening. Especially as its the first bit of damage i have caused to my zed since buying it. Scratch is maybe 6-8 inches long and wondering what i can do to repair it. I've got some leather cleaner and some cotton cloths, so assuming this wont help. Any products or method suggestion would be appreciated. edit: the bit at the bottom is worse, will add another photo when (if) it stops raining. Cant argue at that! Now I need to figure out how to remove all the plastic cowling as I need to swap it over with mine that's coming off the car. Anyone got a guide? He'll take a £50 deposit from you in addition to re-doing the wheel, send you the new one and then you just swap it over at home and send him your old one and he'll refund you the £50. Do the above then recolour with pigment and seal it Buffalo leather in Preston for the products.
