ZeppoJeff Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Stopped raining and snowing for a day so thought the zed was due a clean 4 Quote
Stutopia Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Any weather break you get at the minute it's worth doing No need to snow foam the grass and house though 5 Quote
BobbyZ Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Sensible if you ask me... gets rid of all the winter crud that will rot your zed if you leave it Quote
Ekona Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 I remember when I did a 911 the other year round a mate's house, I started in the morning first thing and the damn snow foam froze to the car! I had to get a warm water hose out to rinse it off. Lesson learnt there! Quote
chirag1988 Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 When I first got my snow foam lance last year I was excited to try it and by the time I'd finished and was trying to dry the zed the water was already starting to freeze on the body! Quote
ilogikal1 Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 I don't understand, this is perfectly normal right.... Right?! 1 Quote
martybhoy Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) With all the salt and minerals getting put on to the roads, it's only fair to take care of your loved one. Edited January 8, 2016 by martybhoy Quote
ZeppoJeff Posted January 8, 2016 Author Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) And there she is all clean and pretty again after almost falling on my arse a few times Snow foam kind of froze to the extension Edited January 8, 2016 by ZeppoJeff 4 Quote
370Ad Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Now that is some effort! She looks beautiful though. Quote
Jimmyflo Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Dedication that! Mine hasn't been done for months but then it hasn't been driven for months either lol Quote
350zedd Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I thought the old girl was in hibernation for the winter? Mind you, I've still got the new wheels on, not bothered taking them off yet. Gritters only been around once, then the salt was washed away by a deluge! Quote

I kept meaning to put her away for winter but the winter never really came this year...just the floods :/ Quote
-G- Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 You're right Jeff - it seems most people who put their cars into hibernation ended up getting them damaged with the flooding :-( I've not been driving mine but thankfully it's somewhere safe. I'll wait until the threat of salt laden roads abates. Quote
g60luke Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Good effort in the cold! Hate it when car needs a good clean but it's freezing ☺ Quote
