  1. No mate sorry, I've already lined up a replacement
  2. Cheers mate, if it stays around long enough I will sort it but I thought I'd offer it up as it is as first.
  3. Been thinking about this for a while now but couldn't bring myself to do it until now. After nearly 3 years of ownership it's time to move on to pastures new. So here is my zed for sale. Vital stats: GT pack Rays Azure blue 2003 on a 53 plate 75500 miles on the clock Mot until February 2017 Car has full service history and has been maintained meticulously by myself. The gearbox oil and diff oil were changed last year, I don't have any reciepts as I done it myself and mitz@cougarstore sent me parts via the forum. The most important thing on a zed has been done and I do have a receipt for this, that is the clutch and flywheel, both were changed at 69000 miles. Car has also had new front discs and Ds2500 pads all round and the brake fluid was changed last year as well. It also benefits from a cobra non resonated cat back exhaust as the standard system needed replacing for an mot. The bodywork on this car is in very good condition for its age, it's not perfect but then it is 13 years old. Car has been stored in the garage for the last 2.5 years and only gets used in the dry. It has the usual zed front bumper stone chips and the odd light scratch here and there but not really noticeable( may polish out with a machine polisher). Alloys are all immaculate, no kerb marks and were refurbed before I bought the car. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin pilot super sports all round with 5mm tread left. The interior on this zed has received many a compliment from other zed owners, it's completely standard however there are no scratches or marks on the dash at all, a lot of Zeus I looked at had pretty bad scratches on the plastics. The only thing that lets the interior down is the drivers seat bolster has discoloured and could do with re-dying. There is only one issue with the car and that is the common drivers window regulator fault. It is intermittent at the moment so with it being a weekend car I haven't sorted it. I'm in no rush to sell the car so I will wait for the right offer and I will be sorting some of the issues and increasing the price if it stays around for a while. If anyone wants more pictures or details please pm me or call/text 07710982422 If you want to test drive the car you are welcome but will be required to prove you have insurance. Price is £5700ono as it is or I will fix the window but I will be looking at £6100ono. Located in Wrexham.
  4. They're not, I kept up with one on a track day
  5. No it was just me in the car, just a minor cut to the head where I hit it on the frame of the roof. Pretty much got too big for my boots and got too enthusiastic in the wet, done an abrupt 3rd to 4th change whilst flat out and lost the back end, won't say how fast I was going but I'm sure you can get a good idea from me saying I was on the limiter in 3rd. Quite lucky I walked away from it really, took me a while to start driving rwd again.
  6. I was going to replace the z with a 997 but I'm struggling to run the zed and have fun so I think I'm going to have to go back to a hot hatch
  7. Thought I'd start this as we already have the worst. This is hard for me because I've loved so many of my cars. It's a tough choice between my first s2 rs turbo, s2000 and the zed. I think the zed probably edges it as its more useable than the s2k and the noise is just awesome.
  8. I'm a sucker for the blue oval anyway, this isn't helping
  9. I wanted to supercharge mine but couldn't afford it. Such a fun car!
  10. I've got a cobra non res, it's loud but I don't find it too bad with stock cats etc. People always comment on how good it sounds Inside: Outside:
  11. Nice project, I was impressed with the zed on track in standard form so this should be awesome
  12. Nice find! Engine bay looks so empty
  13. Hello and welcome to the forum
  14. Worst car I had to drive was probably my octavia. Worst for reliability was the tt my Mrs just got rid of we spent over 1k on repairing it in 2 years
  15. I tried but couldn't seem to wriggle it free. All sorted now though
  16. Did you have to take the scuttle panel off? I had to re secure my battery after my last track day and I couldn't get it out without taking all the plastic off. It was a right pain to get it back on under the windscreen
  17. Yes mate been on here since I've had the zed í ½í¸Š
  18. A lot better than what my skoda was, 17 years old and everything still works perfectly and the stereo is very impressive
  19. I pretty much stole this at £600 with 60k on the clock, only thing is it's not much better on fuel than the zed!
