ATTAK Z Posted January 3, 2016 Share Posted January 3, 2016 I'm getting random highlighted text that takes me to adverts on my iMac whilst browsing this site ... have I pressed a button somewhere that's causing this to occur ? ... can I stop it ? ... any mac gurus that can help please ? Vlad Posted January 3, 2016 Share Posted January 3, 2016 I think it's some kind of virus/malware. Have you installed any kind of new software recently? Or clicked on a dodgy link? I used to have that couple of years ago on my laptop (windows OS), but can't remember how I got rid of it. Probably just ran anti-virus/malware software to get rid of it.
