Ekona Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Please don't do JE5 4BBS, that just looks awful Quote
brillomaster Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 ^ unfortunately I think that's the only way to do it that'll make any sense! possibly on a square plate, ie JE5 4BBS possibly with a subtly placed bolt to make the 4 look more like an A. but i'm clutching at straws here, JE54 BBS does not say James Abbs! Wasso Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 The ONLY way in which it should be presented is..... JE54 BBS 3 Quote
nipwahh Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 That's a hard one to space isn't it, might have to be as per originally! Quote
gumpy000 Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 I know right! A tad gutted but can't show it. She's tried bless her. I did think about the whole JE5 4BBS. But as u say it a tad crap. Lol. Well I guess Il have to smile and just go with normal plate. 1 Quote
Stuggerz Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 I have difficulty finding a good private plate... as I do not want my initials on it due to the spelling SAG lool (my parents obviously didn't think this through) Quote

Makes your life a lot easier when you're trying to justify £1000 on a new exhaust when the old one is still working perfectly well 2 Quote
mdunbar Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 It's close enough, even presented legally. Better than getting pulled by the coppers all the time, or shelling out thousands on a plate that gets closer to what you want to say. I just went for the dyslexic approach and because I am a tight old git - my name is Dunbar and I have D1 NBR. I know what it means and it disguises the age of my car Quote
Stutopia Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Round my way JEBBS means something totally different 4 Quote

TimC Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 I think it will look fine in its correct format, people that know you will see its a private plate an understand about the 4 and A. If not you can always be creative with the screws Quote
jimmy.farrow7 Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Like Tim Says, people who know you will understand what it means James Quote
veilside z Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Change the rear bumper to a UK spec, therefore you can more creative with the plate. Quote
Ekona Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 We've already discussed those as looking retarded. Quote
gumpy000 Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 I know she meant for it to be JE as my middle name is is Edward. But still. I'm guessing I can't do this LOL JE 5 4BBS Quote
Irn Bru Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I have difficulty finding a good private plate... as I do not want my initials on it due to the spelling SAG lool (my parents obviously didn't think this through) My parents neither... My initials spell BAM !!!! Quote
Gerry40 Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 (edited) I've always been called Gez by my mates and family so was well chuffed when I found this NI plate for sale GEZ 212 to put on my recently purchased Zed. The 212 is loosely significant as I got made redundant in 2012 and started working for myself, the last three years have worked out better than I could have dreamed of ( especially this year ) in fact enabling me to treat myself to the Zed.
