Ebized Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Is that for real? Awesome run across the water Quote
LRF4N Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 It's real alright Don't think it will be easily accessible though but still it's impressive http://www.lexus-int.com/amazinginmotion/slide/ One step closer to back to the future 2 lol Quote
GMballistic Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 A mate in work actually mentioned this today. He reckoned it was something to do with magnets. Having seen the video I'm not so sure as how would it work going across the water like that, ...flip knows, could still be something to do with magnets and my bet would be that smoke was definitely just for effect. GMballistic Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 (edited) Now your just trying to confuse me The smoke is liquid nitrogen Watch this for an explanation Very interesting watching the video and the "smoke" now makes sense. Bit disappointing though that it can basically only go were the track is and obviously is not a true hoverboard able to go anywhere a normal skateboard could without restrictions. Rock_Steady Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I read about this in jap magazine about a month ago that Lexus had made a "hover board". definitely not buying the first version. Quote
