martinmac Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Yep 4 is good for me One on each corner. Quote
Kev946 Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Depends what you are looking for. My Lotus has Yokohama Advans A048's which are super sticky, but the rears will wear out every 6k miles... Quote
Beavis Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 I like Michelin's as first choice then Toyo's. Quote

mbs Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 I like ones that don't punture, but love toyo's Quote
letank87 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 A year or so ago, some of the guys in our dynamic performance division were playing around at MIRA, testing a number of different tyres for the zed. Michelin Pilot Sports came out top but our friends in Japan still wouldn't put them on for Europe! Shame Following my collegues advice, I put MPS's on my zed last year and I have to say, although pricey compared to other brands, they are awesome Quote

H5 Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Toyo Proxes T1-R +1 - got these on all three cars now. Quote
Zedrush Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Toyo Proxys ____________ TR-1 thats what I got, love em Quote
N15MNO-Daron Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I thought maybe shud consider 2 sets of tyres.. for summer and winter season. My problem is now when the roads are constantly wet..car seems slide all over the place. Will Toyo Proxes and MPS hold in the rain? Previous favourite tyre - Falken F1's Quote
martinmac Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 That is I suppose one advantage of upgrading the wheels. Summer ( ) tyres on the upgrade and something a little more seasonal ( ) on the winter wheels. It would seem that it is very much a matter of choice other than the deaded B's which have very few, if any fans. I now have more confidence with pilots, Bridgestones scared the hell out of me a few times. Quote
Zedrush Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I hated it when I had bridgestones, almost lost it a couple of times Quote
N15MNO-Daron Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 ive lost it loads of times! Pingu2's got Toyo's and he kills me round bends when im following ...im glad im not the only one..thought it was all down to my bad driving! Quote
martinmac Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Bridgestones are the ultimate in track tyres though For making tyre walls Quote
sl114 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 I hated it when I had bridgestones, almost lost it a couple of times Same here, but mostly on purpose Quote
