  1. A update of my washer motor experience viewtopic.php?f=10&t=60328
  2. As some of you older members know I have had a few issues with washer pump motors. I have replaced the front one twice and the rear one once, I only use the car summer time and due to lack of use the motors rust inside and stop working. The pair have stopped working again and the MOT is due. The usual price at Nissan £45 ish, they said I could have a few pounds off. I also needed a pump by chance for my sons Pug 106 and the dealers also wanted £47 I phoned another local company that supply to all garages around the Somerset area. They priced me one for my sons car at £10.78 bargain so I asked about the Zed, from year 2000 he did list one and that code was the same for nearly all Nissan's and a price of £10.37 plus VAT and they had one in stock, fitted it this afternoon all working fine MAFCO code A554 on the box, MAFCOBELL.CO.UK http://www.currentcare.co.uk/Products/w ... 3-042.html I will email the company to see if they can do a rear one as the pumps are exactly the same but different plugs on the end. If not I will purchse another one and put my own connectors on the end. How happy am I today

    who's who

If I told you my name I would have to ********
  4. If CS says its your B-Day then have a great one Nixy,
  5. As you have said in the other shots the wax gives that extra depth, the black looks deeper in colour. I must do the wifes car which is in black but when clean at the moment it has a touch of grey haze to it
  6. I have owned my car for 4 years this May and have only done 2010 miles since last April, yes it is sorn off the road at present but the pictures are just imo Not long now
  7. I have been using clay for years and the results are just do not rush the job though. Your pics are fantastic keep up the hard work
  8. Do not panic, we are all in the same boat. Just let it do what it is doing, it will come back
  9. Not to sound rude about the add but I think the pictures look rubbish, the colours look wierd. The car is of lovely spec but clearer pictures would show it off more if any one else agree's.
  10. its not, different video, similar though viewtopic.php?f=13&t=53621 Sure about that bugger
  11. There you go http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skoda-Fabia-1 ... 35b329584a They are tailored to the engine so unless it was for a 1.9 TDI with exactly the spec of your Fabia you could do more damage than good I see what you mean about spending money on the car, maybe a £399 remap is ott, you could try a tuning box although I haven't seen them as cheap as £75.... but at least then when you part company with the car you have something saleable to get some pennies back
  12. I have a tuning box on my 1.3cdti Corsa(10 plate), £75 on ebay. Best thing I have ever got, been running it for 6 months and what a difference. I have to remind myself to take if out when it goes in for a service, takes 2minutes to unplug it. If the connectors are the same then give it ago, but make sure the ignition if totally off.

    Front tyres on 19s

Inner edges or outer edges chap? Mine are the inner edges. Mine is lowered and it is the inner edges, not alot but more than normal.
  14. Been to Vegas twice and loved it more the second time. Stayed in Ballys, very good on price and in the middle of the strip. Hoover dam is good, and get a helicopter ride to the grand canyon as it will be faster than driving and the views are spectacular. Do visit old Vegas to, just to say you been there. Went on a time share thing, wasted about 4 hours in the morning but got free tickets to see Lance Burton(amazing) and $120 to play in any casino which we managed to convert back into cash, happy days. I drove from the Welcome to Vegas sign to the stratosphere and that was 4 miles long, lots to do. Have a good time

    Front tyres on 19s

Mine are doing the same, but I put that down to going around corners a little to fast. I had a 4 wheel alignment done a couple of years ago.
  16. The orange reflectors do match the orange strip in the older headlights though
  17. My car is kept in my garage not a problem but the motors have both rusted from inside the motors due to not being used much. Really strange.
  18. Trust me this is the ONLY gripe I have about my 350 and I have owned it for 4 years. My new motors I got 2 years ago and then another last year have stopped working because I do not use it enough. I have only done 2000 miles since last April I sent Nixy a guide on how to change the motors in 20 minutes or so, PM her and see if she still got it to send to you. Best of luck
  19. If it is a little cheaper, you get a better deal then can you give me a heads up when you are going next. Had a look on Ebay and £225 seems to be price but the go pro seems to have a couple of different names ie motorsport, outdoors ect..... what model to pick. cheers
  20. Great video, amazing stability on that camera. Just had a look on Ebay, what exact model Go Pro is this, best place to pick one up ? I really want one of these Just got back from Meribel, seriously cold but had a amazing time. Did some filming but had to hold my camera came ok but nothing like yours.
