  1. Thanks everyone, appreciate the comments - Believe or not the brakes were still fine in that state... I was at Bedford on Friday for my first trackday and I was amazed how well they performed... Those 22mm bolts take some breaking don't they!!! Cheers
  2. Hi guys, After reading the guides on the forum I thought I would have a crack at this myself... I must admit to being touch nervous as I've never attempted anything like this before so I was really chuffed when it all went so smoothly. I highly recommend giving this go if you have the time and some decent tools Attached are some pictures of my DBA discs and Ferodo pads. Look at the state of the old discs, they looked fine on the outside but the inside was another story http://s484.photobucket.com/albums/rr20 ... 78/brakes/ And I know my arches my filthy!!!! Cheers, Matt
  3. +1 I bought the Eibach kit from CS (like piece B above) and the guys at DMS were able to adjust my camber and toe. I don't know how either, I left that to the boys with the spanners and lasers. I can't comment on the bolt kit alone as I bought the arms...
  4. 16k is a lot but it's unique and stunning. White is very fashionable at the momement so I'm sure someone with a rich daddy will be along with notes... Good luck with the sale. Matt
  5. Looks good Rob and your paint is looking fantastic too
  6. Nice one Dan, it's not my thread so I'll let Maz77 step in first....
  7. Hopefully soon mate, I've gone for the 4600's and DS2500's pads I'm going to have a crack at fitting them so I'll post some pictures up... Of the AA towing my car to Nissan
  8. Ok thanks Dan And sorry maz77
  9. Hi guys, I have recently ordered some DBA discs and new pads as my original ones are starting to look and feel a bit tired. Last weekend (with the window down) I started to notice a light rubbing / scuffing coming from the front driver's side wheel. I jacked the car onto axle stands tonight and spun the wheel around in attempt to locate the issue. The pads still have a 'little' meat left but the inside of the disc is very corroded and seems to be rubbing slightly against the backing plate. I'm not sure if the backing plate has slightly corroded / expanded as I left the wheel on whilst looking under the car. My discs are shot so I don't care about damaging them, I am just wondering if it safe to be driving around whilst I wait for my new brakes to arrive. This is subtle rubbing - I can still easily turn the wheel and spin it by hand, it's not like I have sparks flying out from under wheel.... Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks, Matt
  10. Really Dan, was that for the bolts in the middle or the spades than connect to the front bumper? Maybe the guy behind the counter misread this for me. I scoffed and turned faced rather quickly after that quote For reference I was at Glyn 'Gold Pockets' Hopkins in Waltham Abbey.
  11. You could try Halfords or a hardware store... I went to Nissan and the spade clips on the front are 10 pounds each Don't go to Nissan...
  12. I would take the Noble, the lotus would be great fun on the track but possibly a bit much when you fancy a nice a weekend away... The TVR would be awesome but they tend to suffer terribly from reliability. I like your choices, you're a patriotic man indeed
  13. I bet your courier hates you Mitz Have you delivered it yet? Have you delivered it yet? I look forward to seeing your new wheels Martin
  14. There was good guide on here but the pictures have been removed... It's worth a read though. Matt http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/diy- ... bleed.html
  15. No worries Sextons are pretty good, I got my stuff in a few days. Good luck getting everything working!
  16. To covert the ariel you need this little puppy http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/fitting_ ... ml?cat=728 edit; this will join your 2 'loops' in pics 2 and 3. It will be worth it in the end!!!! Matt
  17. When I first started looking at 350's on the net I thought the Alezan interior was foul (too orange) but it's stunning the in the flesh. We're all biased towards our own choices at the end of the day but I think Alezan complements the black paint really well. I think the black leather looks best against the Azure. It's a personal thing though and I can see why some prefer the black leather
  18. It looks really smart, good on you for giving it go!!
  19. MJP sell the official Nissan mats, I bought mine from there. He's a really nice bloke Matt http://www.mjpauto.com/350z-access.html

  22. Hi Dan, Sox I'm going guys, and it's my second year too. I'm going with friends rather than the GF as she doesn't really get the car scene... Only last night she said 'oh God... You're not friends with the quagmire idiot are you? I explained that was me I'm leaving very early on Friday on the 7.30am Eurotunnel staying on Maison Blanch and returning on the Monday morning. Dan - A good chance for me to give you that beer I owe you! Matt
