  1. happy Birthday
  2. Yours is a DE I'll let someone else explain how you can tell Is DE a bad thing when it comes to modifying? No, quite the opposite, usually aftermarket parts for the DE are slightly cheaper and there seem to be more parts out there

  4. Nice one Rob, I saw these on nurrish's car and they look the pups nuts
  5. to the club Geat first mods
  6. I saw the XYZ pipe in Marks office the weekend and it looks like a great bit of kit
  7. There is a difference between the UK and JDM - The UK diff cover is larger with cooling fins. I'm pretty sure that you'll find that all UK exhausts will fit a JDM but not the other way round
  8. Andy rang me and thats what I said but I think he's running the stock airbox so it would be unlikely
  9. I love the Amuse 380RS superlegerra but just had a look for a price for the bodykit and its $9000 (Z1 Auto) I dont love it THAT much

    Its Spoiler Time

  12. to the club. The cats on a Zed are bolted on just before the Y pipe so you don't need to change the whole exhaust, I would have thought you could get your hands on some OEM cats for next to nothing. Try sending ZMANALEX or R35LEE a PM as they will almost definitely have some in stock. Failing that go for some High Flow cats or decat pipes for a bit more noise and power Good luck with your new toy,
  13. Me and Nurrish were talking about that today - I thought it was a one off job?

Another little thing - Not sure if you have the bose or not Sparky but if not the panel where the subwoofer would be comes off to create quite a large luggage space behind the drivers seat. Also, if you take the boot mat out and remove the spare tyre (in exchange for a repair aerosol thingy) then that creates another large space. I went to France last year and easily got enough luggage in to accomodate 2 for a week inc.tent
  15. Mate, I really feel for you!! I'm having a similar problem with the clutch pivot bolt! It went twice in the space of 2 months I think mine is because my clutch is worn though.
  16. Thanks to Sparky350z for sending me his folding key fob I have dismantled my OEM key and can now confirm that a JDM chip WILL fit in the folding fobs! The problem I have at the minute is that the rubber buttons are spaced about 1mm out to press the contacts on the chip. I reckon that if I cut off the rubber nipple and glue it slightly lower then it'll work. Also the battery compartment is slightly out so it'll take a little bit of cutting Just trying to work out what I can do with the boot and alarm buttons. Pics to show chip size: Can anybody confirm what the chip I'm holding is? Its situated in the corner of the key.
  17. You try following a 420whp Zed and a Carrera in a 1.6 Astra Van thats done 155,000 miles while filming and having a fag!! Also it was my iPhone so its easy to hold it upside down
  18. shed loads of torque, probably enough to spin the earth faster when you accelerate Yeah and the throttle response of a dead slug *edited to as not cause offence*
  19. WTF??!! I cant even thing of a good reason why
  20. WARNING : THIS POST REQUIRES A LOT OF HEAD TILTING!! Well quite an interesting day. Got to Daves at about 9am to be greeted by his mom ( ) and a bacon sandwich. Met Grant (BladesGrant) at Leomington for a quick laugh about his Bermuda shorts and to pick his ECU up. Arrived at Abbey at about 11.30 and Mark got to work sorting Grants ECU. While Mark was working me and Dave had a cup of coffee and a wander around abbey. Its like a skyline production line!! (Ian, I would advise you look no further) Anyway, after a short while me and Dave were called into Marks 'headmasters' office for a telling off mainly about Dave's bodges that could have blown South England into its own little island. (feel free to post pics Mark ) A short while later Dave handed over his hard earned cash, got his keys and we were off! I jumped into the supercharged beast at the petrol station for a go in the passenger seat and wow!! We hit the dual carriageway and were gaining on a red EVO 9 when the car lost all power and stalled. At this point Dave was litterally shaking, we hadn't got a clue what had gone wrong and both of us had the damaged engine thought in the back of our minds (see video below) After limping back to Abbey, Mark managed to diagnose the problem. The culprit was a non flanged pipe on the intake which pushed the hoses on to the supercharger belt that in turn cut through the soft hose. After a while eyeing up DJTIMOs new engine and chatting with Mark (awesome bloke, really, really knowledgeable) he managed to fabricate Dave a pipe and get us up and running again All we had left was the journey home when Dave managed to get the attention of a Carrera 4S owner and proceeded to spank him The car is an absolute beast and fair play to Dave for his DIY (oh, and yes his alloys are pink ) Bonus flyby vid
  21. I took my Zed to the Lickey hills last year in the snow, went sledging, got back and couldnt move it I managed to get it moved in the end by flooring it and being pushed sideways by 5 mates
  22. Happy Birthday Nixy!! Have a good one
  23. But could you be seen in a car with pink wheels Good point. I'm also going to set off 10 mins after you to make sure I'm not seen to be anything to do with it
  24. I look forward to driving your car back while you bring back my van tomorrow dave
