Talk to my g/f who's in Oz at the moment using skype on my iphone whilst she uses it on her itouch (with mike headset). I agree that there are better programs out there for things like long distance conferencing / regular contact with family who live abroad but I find that the best thing about Skype is that you can usually find a wifi hotspot easily / use friends if i'm not at home. I also use Ping so that she can let me know when she's on wifi, good app recommend it for anyone who's got an iphone!

Hmm, someone at work had a black '05 plate written off when he sucked water into the engine last year, don't suppose it's a GT Pack with Rays & Alezan interior, think the mileage was 15-20k was it? Hmm, I've just re-read your post and noticed the mileage, sounds suspiciously similar. If it is the same they've probably changed the plate & logbook but I can try and get the plate & service location and see if they match? Don't suppose the current owner picked it up somewhere near Reading / Basingstoke?

I agree with Chris upto a point however when your road has a frozen peak down the middle a couple of feet wide then I'd much rather be in my missus Rover 25 than have my Zed scraping along the bottom, I might have made it in one piece but I definitely would've been fine in the Range Rover. However I do agree that there are a lot of spoons who can't drive on snow down here, that was what caused me to abandon my Zed a few weeks ago, the traffic not the snow!

Get them to put snow tyres on your CRV instead
