  1. In the interests of equality surely there should be a Boys babe library too!!
  2. Lovely looking cars the pair of them, my missus is in Oz at the moment and she said that she saw a couple of Zed's in dark blue, nowhere near Brisbane / Hervey Bay are you?! She also saw a 370Z in red and took obligatory photos, I haven't seen one in red but it does look shame it didn't have the alloys Colin's got, I'm a big fan of those!
  3. This one's good too. Watch out for the fantastic evasive driving when 2 cars come round the corner together and the little white car, well held that man! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfHeCQzWuQg&NR=1
  4. Nice pics, I posted some of mine here as did a couple of others: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=31238&start=15
  5. Husky - I know it's wrong but it made me laugh and I thought you lot might chuckle too! Stew - I know isn't it great, I didn'trealise 'til I got home & uploaded the pic! Beavis - no leak, if anything it's the opposite problem, snow blocking the gutter! Its because of the amount of snow on the roofs and the ridiculous temperatures, the pic below are the houses opposite, they're all the same! Where the snow drops off the edge mainly it hits the ground and causes a line ofice (which meant I ended up on my arse this morning) but the lamp and the satellite dish protrude from the house so they get hit.
  6. Well my bum was ok thanks Stan, however my hands, head and feet were very cold when I trekked to Asda today! Here's a little photo diary of my journey, the walking not driving option was justified as per the following pics, oh and after last night I should probably add *warning pic heavy, and only one Zed pic* View from my window this morning: The lamp outside my house: The 'green' outside my house: The tree just missed the Gatso when it went down, unfortunately! Some of the path was untouched: Probably because people were on the road pushing the oddcar that had ventured out! Got home and some of the Icicles had melted and were lying on the floor: Watched the last session of the cricket as Sky was working despite the icicles on the dish!
  7. Stan the 5 miles thing is easy to achieve, don't go to your local Tesco's buy it online and let them bring it to you
  8. Not today surely, there can't be 3 people who managed to get their Zed's moving in Reading?!
  9. LOL, maybe we should start a Snowy photos / Photography thread in 'Off Topic' rather than hijacking this thread and leaving everyone
  10. Thanks, as it snowed all day the sky was grey and dark all day but as you say when it snowed a couple of weeks ago the next day the sky was a pefectly clear blue, not a cloud in the sky, I'm hoping for more of the same tomorrow, think my favourites from today were these 2: But I'm hoping for opportunities like this again tomorrow:
  11. Photo for those of you that love the snow formations (Stan!), the snow was too heavy on the side of the car!!! Rest of my photos are on this page: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=31208&p=457020#p457020
  12. +1 It is a little deep here! I drove last time too, well I managed to do about a quarter of my 15 minute journey in 90 minutes before leaving it ina pub car park and going in there for drinks before walking home!!! Now however the missus is sunning herself in Australasia for a couple of months so i'll be taking her car me thinks!!
  13. Chris'I, thought it was going to be worse in Basingstoke than here but that pic disappoints me! It looks like we got it worse in Reading, I'm not going anywhere either although forunately they've closed the office, no buses running and I bet they didn't fancy trying to clear the carpark, hope they've got a lot of grit! Oh and its still snowing albeit lightly, due to get heavier though over the next few hours...
  14. I took the same approach as a couple of you, left work early so I was home by 4.30 and it was only starting to sleet then and I'd taken the girlfriends car as well. We've already got 6 inches and apparently it's going to snow here for another 20hours yet!!! Think I'll be working from home....
  15. Get a friend and the pub landlord to help push and then ghost ride and you should be ok most of the way, PJ's back safely!
  16. Mine's abandoned in a pub carpark, took me 90 minutes to get from work to a pub about 0.3 miles away,I onlyneededtodo4 miles but it's stationary and I've got a big hill to negotiate. Spoke to the landlord, had a pint and now keeping my fingers crossed for it, there were plenty of cars abandoned on my walk home though on the hill so guess i made the right decision, i hope...
  17. to the club That key fob looks lovely, oh and you got the best colour Zed too!!!

  19. How do you do it, and so quickly as well! Care to share your secrets?!
  20. I'm hoping someone here can help me, I've got the picture below that I want to remove the post and wire from without reducing the quality. Can anyone help me with this? I'm guessing uploading it to photobucket will have compressed it but if anyone could help me then I guess I could email it over to them? Any help much appreciated! Allan
  21. +1, we went on the first ferry of the day at about 7.30am if I remember rightly, everyone got off at the island but we didn't as you couldn't go up the statue then, don't know if you can again now? Which meant that there was pretty much no-one on the ferry on the trip back, no jostling for photos was nice! Saw the street acrobats the day before they were ace. Gotta +1 this as well. Some people say Cabs are best, I think they're good, definitely better than the underground but I enjoyed walking sometimes as well to get more of a feel for the place. Also I loved Madison Square Garden and the less visited NBA store as well, thought that place was ace, to be fair I am a big basketball friend but my friend who isn't loved it too! Couple of pics, trying to give Sarnie a run for his money... View from Top of the Rock New York Taxi's Statue of Liberty:
  22. Looks good, anyone got a link to 'the incident thread'?!
