  1. There will be no difference in bhp until you get a remap. Circa £400.00
  2. Would Scorpion actually make one do you think? Perhaps it may be a case of buying a job lot from China and sticking a brand name on it or am I being to cynical.
  3. What mileage have you done in the 4 months that you have used 5 Lt of engine oil? Also what mileage has the car covered since new?
  4. ME Plenty diff parts in stock UK or JDM viscous or non viscous.
  5. Talking your usual rubbish Anders Go play with your diff. mate. feck you Harsh but true.
  6. Talking your usual rubbish Anders Go play with your diff. mate.
  7. Not important. Sometimes a different rotor on the rear and the correct choice of pad gives you far better results.
  8. Performance Friction Rotors available here. viewtopic.php?f=157&t=27437 I have run with both the Performance Friction and the Stoptech rotors and I must say that I definately prefer the Performance Friction.
  9. maybe OP blew the engine though so 24 man hours to swap... pmmmm that's a lot of monies in cost for soft services.. If you can do a diff swop out mate then you will manage this no problem Anders. So in your case labour will be free
  10. £1200.00 in readies in your hand now, or go insurance route.
  11. I am in the middle of a 276/313 conversion at the moment and I reckon that it will take me around a week to complete which includes approx. 24 hours hands on + tune. No drama and a easy upgrade which is cost effective if you can source preowned parts. However IMHO I do not really think that is a worthwhile upgrade unless you actually require a replacement engine.
  12. What is all the drama about guys? it only takes 2 minutes to access. It is positioned there for many reasons, one being it is a very expensive component to replace, so best tucked away out of harms way.
  13. +1 ^ If you have cats fitted.
  14. Spring circlip 38225+A is all that holds the axle in place.
  15. If your mallet method is not working, then a couple of flat tyre levers will do the trick. One either side and just prise the axle off.
  16. The axles should just tap off, keep them square and you should not have any issues. Don't know why yours are tight.
  17. There is a 15amp fuel pump fuse in the IPDM unit. I think that it is the one at the bottom of the inside row. The IPDM is behind/beside the battery. You will have to remove the plastic scuttle to gain access.
  18. Plato, although favourite to win the championship due to his huge points advantage and having poll, does not actually have to win any of todays three races to get the title. However 2 x Civics v Plato, I know who my money will be on, as Matt Neal knows every dirty trick in the book and Flash is learning fast. The Civics will not be under team orders and the only way that either of then can win the championship is to make sure that Plato does not finish and I believe that will be there game plan. Don' miss it. Starts 11.30 am
  19. The whole series Tomorrow is the last 3 races of the season. You better start planning now for 2011
  20. A must watch for all BTCC fans. Do not miss it as the Civics will be ganging up on poor Plato. Will they run him into the Gravel or the Tyre Wall? Will he finish the race? Tune in tomorrow to find out. Brands Hatch - Qualifying - Saturday 9th October 2010 POS. NO. CL. DRIVER. NAT. CAR. TIME. LAPS. 21. David, It is no big deal getting the toe and camber adjusted mate. Best to get it done now to improve the handling of the car and help stop the tyre wear. Once you have fitted your coilovers then it will have to be done again and you may require camber kits front and rear depending on how far you drop.
