Quite acceptable to just replace the bearing assembly however if the bearing splits when pressing off then you will have to remove the inner bearing runner which will be stuck tight on the hub sleeve. As regards damage to the sleeve, you will not know this until you have it all stripped down. New hubs/sleeves are not cheap. I think that Nissan dealerships will now only replace both units to avoid any aggro. Alex.

I have a very low mileage clutch kit and fly recently removed from a 350Z VQ35DE. However I would highly recommend that you replace the clutch plate, cover and bearing with new quality brand components. Also as Neil has said, swop out the fly when you are at it as you do not want to have to remove the box a third time. Alex.

Yes, Gates belts come with a warranty, however I would guess that you have an underlying issue causing the belts to fray. A close up inspection should reveal the issue. Alex.

Yes the large fuse box with all the relays is the IPDM. If you have water ingress then you will have to firstly trace the source and then determine a fix.

The IPDM is behind the battery and the BCM is fixed to the other fuse box inside the car beside the acc.pedal.

Easy to do at home with a trolly jack and stands. However you will have to gravity feed the gearbox refill if you do not have a transmission fluid pump. A garage would probably charge about an hours labour circa £50,00.

More than likely the garage may not have got all the air out the system. They are a bit tricky to bleed correctly if you are not conversant with the 350Z. It is normal for gear selection to be easier with the engine switched off.

Nissan do not have a time or mileage for the diff fluid change, however if you are running a VLSD then I would recommend every 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes soonest. Alex.

No charge for diagnostics ? That will be a first from a Nissan dealership, so well done there. Low mileage pre owned prop shafts are in stock and good to go same/next day if required. Alex.
